Humanity has never been less connected with the living world. This radical disconnect is hurting us, our relationships with each other, and with our planet.
Wild Thing Poetry is an eco poetry collective and social enterprise set up to address this. We believe in facilitating connection between people and the natural world, using creativity to help us navigate, and bear witness, to the biodiversity crisis.
The ecological fight is multidisciplinary. This is the poet’s response.

Why eco poetry?
Eco poetry is poetry that explores our relationship with the natural world. A written response to the environment using language in evocative and surprising ways. Practicing eco poetry is a powerful way to better connect ourselves with our land and wild spaces, and our wilder selves.
We facilitate workshops for young people (schools and youth networks), environmental activists, and organisations looking to connect with nature, each other, and their own creativity.
We offer workshops online, at your place, or out in the woods.
